Reroute

This is a Detours DLL component for redirecting requests in IM clients from their original services, to CrossTalk's.

Detours is shipped as a nuget package within this repository, and is licensed under the MIT license.

This is a heavily modified fork of Escargot Switcher, with modifications to support non-monolithic services, connect to CrossTalk by default, and add support for more clients (Windows Live Messenger 2011/2012, Yahoo! Messenger 7.0+, MySpaceIM).

Supported systems

  • Requires Windows XP SP2 or later, or Wine
  • Building requires Visual Studio 2022 with the v141_xp toolset from Visual Studio 2017 installed. We plan to switch to MinGW for the build process in the future.
