I fixed issues that prevents Mercury Messenger from connecting to CrossTalk.
Did you use an LLM to write this pull request? This is way too descriptive/lengthy for a simple 2 line change. And also "Unified template import statement format", whatever that means.

Yes, I used LLM to write the PR's description, but I found and fixed the problem myself.
Moving forward, do not use generative AI in any capacity when contributing to CrossTalk. We do not allow AI-generated/AI-assisted submissions for various reasons (potential copyright issues, enviornmental impact etc etc).
